In addition to NASA’s free image library (the GRIN), beginning in 2009 they began to offer some free e-books online. What better way to celebrate past technologies than by reading about them utilizing new technologies? The selection is still somewhat limited, but the in depth nature of the titles should provide hours of entertainment. They are available in .mobi, .prc, ..pdf, and .epub flavors, and so should be viewable on almost all devices, although perhaps not that Apple Newton you’ve been holding on too.
