Maybe it’s because of the stacks of old geek magazines from the mid 80′s to 90′s that really did get this cheesy. Alas, this is not real – it’s part of a set of fake-out decoy magazine [...] Once again I offer humor that may only resonate with a certain subset of the geek world, but this is (to me) hilarious. “Hey Ed, I’ve lost a server.” “Did the hard drive crash?” “No, I mean it’s lost. I know I’ve seen 2GB drives for sale at [insert: storename(any)] recently, so I doubt limited capacity is the reason it’s no longer for sale. I’m guessing it’s because it only ever started [...] Growing up as a socially awkward geek means that none of your socially awkward friends will know where the line is or the meaning of the phrase “too soon.”
