I'm convinced. I always thought the difference was far greater, but never looked at the actual numbers. Plus, there's the greater ease of actually containing helium.
You can fill a ridged airship's gas bags with Hydrogen and launch an Anti Aircraft (5 inch) shell at it and burst deep inside the gas bags and not have any fires or explosions. This is because there is not enough oxygen for the Hydrogen to burn.

But hydrogen is so much easier and cheaper to manufacture. Plus, hydrogen has a *fun* little bit of danger that helps with natural selection.
