At last this ride had sides to it. Check out the original wild mouse roller coasters or this really weird horse one. Where it simulated riding a horse in a race. Naturally you were precariously balanced on this thing with nothing holding you on as you went whizzing by everything.
Its called a steeplechase roller coaster.
It's vintage mining equipment. Those are ore cart chassis, and the rail is strap rail on two by fours. I see the same stuff every day at work.
