Welcome once again to Quixotic Quantum Quandary time! Today’s technological tidbit may date from a slightly earlier time, but its utility would never really be out of fashion. It most certainly follows in the grand human tradition of finding ways that we can all make our lives easier. But is easier really always better? Is there not some certain satisfaction in doing some jobs the ‘old-fashioned’ way, especially when the old way involves a little something called skill.

Here is a happy little hint if you need the help.
If any of you friendly frequenters of the Quandary have some ponderable particulars that you would care to share, a little tidbit of forgotten technology, please send some photos my way! Just email HycoSpeed@gmail.com and throw Q³ in the subject line so I’ll see it.

I found it.
MUHAHAHAH…
And I didn't cheat this time by dumping the pic into Google…
I narrowed it down by good old process of elimination and detective work.
It is a Goodell Co White Mountain Apple Corer

First thought it was a patato peeler and then narrowed the possibility. Then realized my relative has an old cast iron apple corer. It was the cast Iron along with the handle bend that gave it away and made it easy.
Looks more like something from a 3rd world interrogation room. The CIA should just leave a few of these sitting around when talking to terrorist prisoners.
The should.
So very, very close. I mean, you had it even!
