What an incredible year that must have been! Science unbridled by the restraint of humanity and without concern for legal ramifications of building on work performed by other, more successful inventors.

I find it shocking that they were shut down.
Not everyone was surprised; from day one the whole place just felt like there was something in the air.
The idea had a lot of potential, but was brought down by ungrounded rumors.
What a re-volting development.
Stunning indeed, but I hear there was a lot of resistance from the community
The community didn't like all the funny lights and electric thoughts. The local power company's complained about all the free energy, being, just given away. It certainly sparked thoughts about many new striking ideas.
There were a lot of positives and negatives though: it would have provided a great outlet for the kids' energy, but if something went wrong it would certainly have made your hair stand on end.
I hear part of the problem was that nobody much cared for the static displays. The rides, on the other hand — those'd give you a real charge!
Ohmigod, that place must have been fun.
It was rather exciting, in a manner that accumulated such a long lasting charge that it is still sparking smiles on people years later.
Bottom line: They charged too much, and it didn't just stop at the gate.
Still, I think they should be inducted into the Amusement Park Hall of Fame.
