Years ago in Japan I bought a t-shirt that said "Futura" on it. I had no idea what it meant but I needed a t-shirt. People have asked me since what it means and I tell them I have no idea. Now I know what it means – Futura font! I'm way too excited about this.

*edit: Does Oakland suck as bad as its namesake font? Bleccch!
Are you talking about Oakland, CA or Oakland, MI?
Regardless, the Oakland font looks distinctly 8-bit, and nasty, and I don't like it either. That means that it must be popular.
No comic sans serif?
