Oh Yeah! It’s a Kool-Aid contest from Boys’ Life magazine in spring of 1961, and winning looks to be a breeze! All it takes is a little knowledge of North American wildlife, coupled with a little bit of luck. But be careful! Some of the animals are in the picture, but not listed on the entry blank. The Kool-Aid man is a crafty one. And check out the second prizes, sweet Zenith Royal 50 transistor radios!

Grand prize was $200 for a summer vacation in a camp of the winner's choice. I bet back then 200 bucks would go farther than one night.
Even in the late '70s my 2 week summer camp was $200, IIRC. And it was a nice one with guns and a large, clean lake, too.
Did the clean lake cost extra? Could you perhaps have sent your child to the camp with guns and a large, industrial effluent-laced lake for more like, I don't know, $100?
Head to summer camp! We have the animals lined up to fill your Winter Camp needs!
