Craigslist Tech: Virus-Proof Edition

The seller of this Apple iBook G3 is entirely too coherent to be listing things on Craigslist. He also seems to be hoping for a visit from Steve Ballmer. Maybe to get his secrets on virus-immunity.

In his own words:

Here’s a good-working laptop for email, web-browsing, school and office work. This cool-looking, Wi-Fi internet accessing, virus-hating laptop provides everything you need without breaking the bank. The classic, compact design of the 12″ iBook, (the thinnest, lightest laptop on the market when it was introduced) and the virus resistant nature of Mac operating system (they just don’t get them!) gives this laptop staying power, and contributes to its huge popularity among Mac aficionados and first-time users alike.

Please respond if you want to see it in action.

Are you interested? He’s asking $170. What a deal for a supposedly virus-immune, just plug-it-in-and-go laptop that will make you the envy of all your Mac-lovin’ friends! $170 seems like a cheap way to generate some nerd jealousy.
